The Bank of Uganda is the regulator. It publishes the official register used to check the institutions shown in this directory. The register currently lists 341 licensed institutions of all kinds in Uganda. Of these, 21 are commercial banks. Brokers belong to a different type of financial institution. Each directory entry should be checked for its current licence information and contact details.
